Media Relations Representative
 Jennifer Chan is responsible for executing media campaigns to increase the visibility of Keck School of Medicine programs, clinical research and faculty. She secures coverage in trade, local and national media outlets and provides support at university press announcements and medical conferences. Jennifer’s interests include medical devices and stem cell research. She works closely with USC’s stem cell faculty in helping promote their research and grants.
She also contributes articles to USC print and online publications. She attends national medical meetings supporting presentations by USC faculty.
Prior to joining USC in 2006, Jennifer served as an account executive for FischerHealth Strategic Communications, a public relations firm specializing in health care. She implemented tactical activities such as media outreach, market research and collateral development. Her clients included Boston Scientific, Tyco Healthcare and Thoratec Corporation.
Jennifer graduated from USC with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in law and public policy.
