The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is home to a vibrant scientific community, where more than $200 million in research funding supports an extraordinary array of basic, epidemiological, community, translational, and clinical research studies. Over the past decade, the research enterprise has been in an exciting growth phase with the goal to become a top-ranked biomedical research institution. Now as the school begins its transformation into a full-fledged academic medical center, university and school leaders have renewed the commitment to development of the research enterprise.
The provides leadership for development and management of the research enterprise and support for the efforts of the faculty. The office coordinates research activities and operations across the school, integrating with university-level management. The office also works to develop and promote cross-university program initiatives.
