The Dean’s Research Cabinet (DRC) serves as an advisory board to the Dean on all matters pertaining to research.

The DRC meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 pm in the Edmondson Faculty Center, unless other arrangements are made.

The committee is chaired by the vice dean for research and its membership is comprised of:

• Basic science department chairs
• Directors of KSOM institutes with departmental status
• Clinical department research liaisons
• Directors of major research centers and programs
• Executive vice presidents for research of the Keck School affiliates

Research administrative and development staff at the Keck School and the university are ex-officio members of the DRC.
