The Graduate Admissions Committee (GAC) manages applications and admissions to the Ph.D. graduate programs granting Ph.D. degrees in the health sciences.

The committee meets weekly from mid-December through mid-April at a location determined on an ad hoc basis. The committee is chaired by a mutually agreed upon faculty member who has ample experience on the committee and has demonstrated commitment to and leadership in the graduate admissions process. Faculty members from all participating USC graduate programs are welcome to join the committee.

The committee membership is comprised of the current Chair, Richard Watanabe, Ph.D., and faculty representing all Keck School of Medicine graduate programs.
