Associated Students of the School of Medicine (ASSM)
All medical students enrolled at the Keck School of Medicine are eligible to join the ASSM, a student-run organization. The ASSM is comprised of a general board of officers as well as officers representing each medical student class.
ASSM officers participate in the governance of the Keck School as members of the Executive Council and play an active role as members of medical school committees. The ASSM maintains a calendar of medical school events, as well as other university events that may be of interest to students. The ASSM sponsors events and distributes a portion of student program fees to other student organizations. The ASSM Web site provides information and maintains helpful links for Keck School students.
