KSOM ALUMS IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Robert I. Greenblatt, M.D. - Class of 1979
Establishes Esther Greenblatt Memorial Scholarship Fund
"I am indeed honored to be an Esther Greenblatt
Scholar" - Steven Stevens, Class of 2006
Robert I. Greenblatt, M.D. ’79, has an
office-based practice in New Jersey where his primary
specialty is gastroenterology. When he was searching
for a meaningful and lasting way to memorialize his
beloved mother Esther Greenblatt, he created a scholarship
in her honor. The Esther Greenblatt Memorial Medical
Student Scholarship Fund at the Keck School accomplishes
his vision of giving back to his alma mater and helping
the next generation of medical leaders. His annual
gift to the scholarship fund assists up to two highly-qualified
students in need of financial aid.
Scholarships like the Esther Greenblatt Memorial
Scholarship enable the Keck School to recruit the
best students and maintain a high retention rate.
We are most grateful to Dr. Greenblatt for his thoughtful
and caring tribute to his mother which will impact
so many.
