several years. Donors may make gifts to the annual fund on

Appointment to an endowed chair is the highest recognition
a university can bestow upon a faculty member. New endowed
chairs are used as a means of recruiting and retaining distinguished
physicians and scientists.
Endowed Loan Funds
With the high cost of medical education, loans often provide
a medical student with the much-needed funds to supplement
state and federal loans and scholarships. Awards are based
on financial need and academic performance.
Endowed
Scholarships »
Endowed scholarship funds allow the Keck School to recruit,
enroll and retain the best and brightest medical and graduate
students. Scholarships also allow the school to fulfill its
mission of diversity by providing funds to highly qualified
minority students.
Endowed Research Funds
High-quality research is the essential foundation of and precursor
to advancements in every field. Philanthropic support helps
make truly transformational science possible. Endowed research
funds may be used as start-up funds for junior faculty members
or to support novel areas of research for more established
scientists.
Equipment Gifts

or programs at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Costs for
such equipment vary widely. Contact the development office
