It is a USC requirement that all students have a comprehensive health insurance plan, in addition to paying the Student Health Center Fee. The USC Student Health Insurance Plan will help to cover the cost of care that cannot be obtained on campus, particularly in an emergency situation where hospitalization may be required. The USC Student Health Insurance Plan works in conjunction with the Engemann Student Health Center and the Eric Cohen Health Center located on the Health Sciences Campus. For this reason, all students enrolled in the USC Student Health Insurance Plan are also required to pay the Student Health Center Fee.
The insurance charge for Spring 2014 is $914 and this will appear on your fee bill each semester as "Student Health Ins". These charges will be automatically assessed to your account upon meeting one of the following criteria:
