Ginny Mancini
Ginny Mancini is active in the Los Angeles arts community, having chaired the Music Center's Walt Disney Hall Opening Gala and related events. She is president of the Henry Mancini Institute and founder of the Society of Singers. In 1983, the Mancini Music Fund was created, endowing a scholarship in Henry Mancini's name at the Thornton School. Her children also are active in the music industry: Felice is executive director of The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation and Monica, a jazz vocalist, is married to former Thornton jazz drummer Gregg Field.
