Composition Showcase

The composition showcase is the departmental recital held each semester. The concert features the newest works by Thornton student composers.

March 8th at 3:00 and 7:00 pm
Alfred Newman Recital Hall

Submission guidelines:

Deadline for submission is Friday, February 13th at 3:00 pm.
Submit all materials to Alex Miller or Sarah Gibson in MUS 308.
Accepted submissions will be announced no later than Friday, February 20th, 2009.

Submit the following materials:
1. Completed submission form (limit: one work per composer). Download Here

3. Program notes (please include one copy with your submission, and email another copy to alexander.e.miller@gmail.com or segibson@usc.edu)

F.A.Q.
Composers are responsible for finding their own performers.
Composers are responsible for securing any rehearsal space and times.
Each composer will receive a professional quality CD of the concert on which their work appears.
Submissions that are incomplete in any way will not be accepted.
