VEMS Takes Over As Thornton's Online Practice Room Scheduling System!
We've streamlined! Now students can reserve PIC practice rooms through the same online system that is used to reserve classrooms in other Thornton facilities, VEMS Online Scheduling System. Students providing a USC email address at the time of Music Operations Registration will automatically recieve a login name and password to VEMS Online Scheduling System. Students can reserve up to two (2) hours per day, up to seven (7) days in advance, during the specified practice room reservation hours of 8:00am – 8:00pm, Monday through Friday. After 8:00pm on weekdays and all day on weekends, practice rooms in PIC can be used on a first come/first serve basis by students properly registered with Music Operations. Registered students are required to swipe their valid USC ID with Music Operations registration sticker through the PIC USCard readers to gain access to the building.
*Please note that all PIC Pracitce Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis only through the university add/drop deadline (the first day to make PIC Practice Room reservations is Monday, September 14th for Fall 2009).

Access-Listed Studios and Labs:
Certain faculty studios and labs may be accessible to students by way of an Access List that is provided by the appropriate faculty/staff member to the Office Manager. Access-List-controlled spaces are accessible only to students included on the list for each room. Keys to these rooms can be checked out on a temporary basis from Music Operations in exchange for a valid USC ID with Music Operations registration sticker. All keys checked out for Access-List-controlled spaces must be returned to Music Operations in BMH 101 before closing time on the same day.
