Biography

Elizabeth Blumenstock is a frequent concertmaster, soloist and leader with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and American Bach Soloists in the San Francisco Bay area, and is Resident Artistic Director of Los Angeles' Musica Angelica, as well as its concertmaster.  She is also concertmaster of the Handelfestspiel orchestra in Goettingen, and serves frequently as concertmaster of the Italian ensemble Il Complesso Barocco.  For these groups, and as a member of several of California's finest chamber ensembles, Musica Pacifica, Trio Galanterie, and the Arcadian Academy, she has recorded more than ninety CDs.
