In keeping with a long tradition of innovation in pharmaceutical education and research, the USC School of Pharmacy shall be the global leader in the development of new paradigms for pharmacy practice; pharmaceutical and interdisciplinary health care education and research that emphasizes pharmacotherapeutic planning, management and outcome assessment; as well as the creation of new therapeutic agents, targeting strategies and monitoring modalities. The USC School of Pharmacy shall also serve as an advocate for the best application of technology and professional skills to ensure optimum benefit to human health and society.
