Biography
Dr. Mirzaian received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy in 2001. She completed a residency in community pharmacy practice at USC School of Pharmacy and holds the Certificate of Knowledge in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine.

Dr. Mirzaian currently runs the Patient Care Clinics and the USC International Travel Health Clinic on the USC Health Sciences Campus and is the coordinator of the USC Diabetes Ten City Challenge. She coordinates the community pharmacy practice introductory and advanced experiences and classroom required courses and electives.
She is currently a national faculty trainer for the American Pharmacists Association Pharmacy Based Immunization Training Program and Diabetes Care Program. Dr. Mirzaian is the site coordinator of the USC Community Pharmacy Practice Residency program and has implemented numerous community and clinic based patient care programs including travel health, diabetes, anticoagulation, hepatitis C, and smoking cessation clinics and multiphasic disease state screenings.

She lectures extensively on the topic of immunization practices, self-care, community pharmacy programs, health screenings and disease prevention, disease state management and medication therapy management.
