Since the program's inception, alumni have come together to develop strong business relationships, partnerships and friendships. Many of the program's alumni have developed significant projects in urban areas throughout the country or have impacted urban core development through their work in regional or municipal government or through community or nonprofit development projects. Graduates are encouraged to network with fellow program alumni and stay connected to resources available through the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate.
Originally titled the Summer Program in Real Estate (SPIRE) in 1993 and expanding to the Ross Minority Program in Real Estate in 2003 with the addition of the Winter Program and the Bay Area Ross Program, the graduates of the Ross Program represent various sectors of the real estate development industry. With over 650 graduates represented in the United States and Internationally, the Ross Program has a premiere network of professionals that are apart of the "Lusk Trojan Family." Graduates of the Ross Program will also become members of the Lusk Real Estate Alumni and Friends network.
