Athenian Society

As the premier philanthropic support group for the USC School of Policy, Planning, and Development, the Athenian Society supports academic excellence and the continued growth of SPPD. The Athenian Society seeks to provide a meaningful community for those who believe in the mission, vision, and potential of SPPD and who wish to become involved in the life of the school.

The Athenian Society invites support at various levels. Alumni, parents, community and business leaders, and friends of SPPD will find membership rewarding. Funds raised for the annual fund through membership in the Athenian Society help provide student scholarships, enable us to carry out the initiatives of the Dean, and strengthen our core areas of public administration, public policy, planning, real estate development, and health administration.

This is a crucial and exciting time in SPPD’s history. The school has the opportunity to build upon its areas of distinction and solidify its rank among the top public affairs schools in the nation as an educational leader in the emerging global community.

Founder--$25,000
Fellow--$10,000
Guardian --$5,000
Councilor--$2,500
Member--$1,500
Young Professional--$250 (years one to three from graduation)
