Citywide Economic Development and Strategic Plan

In a collaborative process designed to develop a vision and plan for economic development in the City of Inglewood, USC Center for Economic Development staff engaged community business leaders, residents and city officials in a series of public meetings. The goal of these collaborate efforts was to present an assessment and analysis of economic and community problems and opportunities to the City’s Stakeholders. Through open forums, community participants identified five key issues crucial to the City’s progress, including New Development, Ideas for Particular Areas of the City, Concerns and Issued, Desired Public Investments and Strategies to Get There from Here. The Center’s partnership with Inglewood’s electorate resulted in the formation a detailed outline of the community’s vision.
