Mixed-Use Development Survey

To study the economic development impacts of mixed-used developments in Southern California, researchers at the USC Center for Economic Development have conducted a series of interviews with some developers of mixed-use projects. Mixed-use developments, which combine two or more components of commercial, residential or business use, are often considered catalysts of urban revitalization. The research is designed to examine the correlation between successful mixed-used developments and economic development impacts such as job creation, increases in income and the improvement of living conditions.
