What planning and development strategies are needed for today's communities? How can sustainability be successfully implemented? Can the need for growth be reconciled with environmental impacts? How will green technology play a role in shaping communities?

Ali Sahabi, founder and president of SE Corporation, has helped change the face of the Inland Empire. As developer of Dos Lagos, located in Corona, California, Mr. Sahabi turned a 543-acre industrial site in to a master planned community infused with sustainable elements. Dos Lagos aims to balance profitability, consumer needs and environmental pressures amidst changing political and economic landscapes. Against this backdrop, new development strategies are needed. Based on his extensive experience, Mr. Sahabi will explore what those new tactics may be for the Inland Empire and beyond.
