The Jeffrey Miller Chair in Government, Business, and the Economy

The University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning, and Development (SPPD) invites nominations and applications for an endowed chair with a focus on the public and private sectors. The appointment will be made at the associate professor or professor level.

Position Description and Qualifications:
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree and demonstrate excellent research and teaching records. Substantive foci of particular interest include regulation of industries, public finance with a focus on private sector impacts, corporate governance. Disciplinary field is open, though individuals in economics, law, political science or public policy are encouraged from a broad range of several disciplines, including public administration, management, political science, and sociology. The chair holder will contribute to the public policy program and organize an annual forum on Government, Business and the Economy.

Consideration of applications will begin January 1, 2007, and continue until the position is filled.
