Recent Job Placements
Graduates of the School of Policy, Planning, and Development compete well in the job market. MPA students build a number of professional contacts through internships, Career Conversations with Alumni Night and Career Day. Often these contacts lead to full-time employment.
To assist students in placement, the School of Policy, Planning, and Development Professional Development Office hosts several career skills workshops. The School also has a Career Resource Center where current job listings as well as post-graduate fellowship and management internship opportunities are maintained. The Resource Center also houses books on careers skills and information on public, nonprofit and consulting organizations. This Resource Center is open to current students, recent graduates and alumni who are looking for career changes.
