This site is designed for small business entrepreneurs who have recently been turned down for a business loan and are interested in applying for a loan guaranteed by the Small Business Administration (SBA). SBA loans can be used to either help start your own business or expand an existing one. The USC Center for Economic Development has gathered in one, easy-to-use place, all the information you will need to embark on the loan application process. Our goal is to assist busy entrepreneurs prepare successful loan applications, thereby increasing the likelihood that your loan will approved for a SBA guaranty.

After using the tools embedded in this site, you will be able to:

  • Understand the purpose of the SBA and its various loan program.
  • Fill out an application for a SBA guaranteed loan.
  • Create the appropriate financial documents that traditionally accompany loan applications.
  • Present with confidence your loan request to a SBA approved lender for consideration.
