Located within the USC School of Policy, Planning, and Development, the Center for Health Financing, Policy & Management aims to:

• Conduct leading-edge scientific research into the operation and effect of
  managed care and healthcare competition
  
• Educate practicing professionals and policy-makers
  
• Develop management and policy strategies to support development of
  cost-effective healthcare systems throughout the world.
  

The Center's purpose is to expand knowledge regarding the structure, function and effects of managed care, and to disseminate new knowledge to improve the performance of healthcare systems.
