Education Background:
Bryant College ¨C Bachelors in Business Administration
Double Major in Management and Literature.
University of Southern California -- Master of Public Policy 1st semester
Interests within the Planning field:
As an MPP student I am interested in how different countries tackle
the difficult task of analyzing, formulating and implementing social
policy. By researching policies in person rather than from afar, I will
gain greater perspective on why a given policy does or does not work
in a specific environment.
What you expect to learn from the Berlin Lab?
I look forward to meeting students and faculty
from Berlin so that I may gain firsthand knowledge in both my field
of interest and related subjects. Since policy is ultimately rooted
in human understanding, there is truly no substitute for getting to
know individuals¡ªtheir needs, their culture and their ideas.
Job Experience:
In
my undergraduate years I worked as a Radio DJ and station manager. After
college I worked in New York City as a computer consultant. Three years
ago I moved to Los Angeles and have held a few jobs including: television
news researcher, and human resources administrator at a nor-profit.
Languages:
English, and a small amount of conversational
French.
Other Interests:
My primary interests outside of school are reading,
traveling, and going to the theater.
