Application Process

Intern applicants will be notified by January 1st, 2008 if they are selected to be interviewed. Phone interviews will be conducted during the first 2 weeks of January. We do not, however, offer in-person interviews. Applicants who are not being considered for an internship position will be notified by postal mail or email no later than December 20th, 2007.

For those who wish to visit the center, we encourage you to visit during our Open Houses which will both be offered in January. The Open House will be held during 2 afternoons in early and late January. Please check our website for updates in the Fall for dates and the itinerary. There will be an opportunity for you to meet with staff and current interns in small groups, as well as tour the facilities. For those who would like to visit but will be unable to attend our Open House, we regret we cannot offer an individual site visit due to recent policy changes. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

We are very aware of geographical or economic barriers that may prohibit some from visiting us during the Open House. While applicants are welcome to visit our center, your attendance at the Open House will not reflect on your interest in our program nor in your status in ranking. Applicants are welcome to contact current interns or staff members with questions.

Please contact Dr. Bradford King if you have any questions about the status of your application.

Sincerely,

Bradford King, Ph.D.
Director, Student Counseling Services
Interim Coordinator of Training
