Track #1 - College Mental Health and Disability Services

Shing-Shiong Chang, PhD
Michigan State University, Clinical Psychology, 1989

Dr. Chang is a Staff Psychologist at USC Student Counseling Services. His specialty areas are in individual, couples, and group therapy, multicultural counseling, mind-body connections and wellness work, issues of international and Asian/Asian-American students, music students, psychotherapy integration and therapeutic communication, spirituality and psychotherapy. Dr. Chang is a licensed psychologist in the State of California.
 

Patricia Tobey, PhD
Director of Training, Postdoctoral Fellowship in College Mental Health

Dr. Tobey is an Associate Dean of Academic Support Programs. She is also an Associate Professor of Clinical Education at USC Rossier School of Education. Her specialty areas are in disabilities, individual, couples, group therapy, educational and psychological assessment, student development (e.g., student athletes, academically at-risk college students, first-generation college students), outreach and consultation, peer mentoring, program evaluation, organizational behavior, and mind-body connection and wellness work. Dr. Tobey is a licensed psychologist in the State of California.
 

Track #2 - College Mental Health and Sports Psychology

Robin Scholefield, PhD
California School of Professional Psychology, Clinical Psychology, 1999

Dr. Scholefield is a Staff Psychologist at USC Student Counseling Services who works exclusively with student-athletes. Her areas of specialty include: individual and conjoint therapy with student athletes; outreach and consultation with Athletic Department, coaches and staff; USC Student Athlete Mentor Program; Coordinator of Sports Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship; interpersonal/dynamic therapy, CBT, and cross-cultural counseling. Dr. Scholefield was a bronze medalist in swimming from the 1976 Olympic Games. Dr. Scholefield is a licensed psychologist in the State of California.
 

Timmy Lee, PhD, PPS
University of California, Santa Barbara, Counseling Psychology, 2002

Dr. Lee is a Staff Psychologist at USC Student Counseling Services and the Coordinator of Outreach. His areas of specialty include ethnic/cultural diversity, supervision, substance abuse, learning disorders/disabilities, depression, anxiety and panic disorders. Other areas of interest include African American identity development, stress management, student athletes, empirically validated treatments, and community building. Dr. Lee is license eligible in the State of California.
