Immunizations
*If you have a PPD skin test, you are required to return within 48-72 hours to have it read, otherwise the test is incomplete. For this reason, we cannot do PPD skin tests on any day where we are not open 48-72 hours later. About this serviceThe UPHC Immunization Clinic is a walk-in clinic that provides a variety of routine and travel vaccinations, as well as TB (PPD) skin testing to meet university pre-matriculation requirements. In addition, we offer contraceptive injections as order by a UPHC medical provider. Required Immunizations and ScreeningsUSC requires proof of measles (Rubeola) and mumps immunity from all new, incoming students. In addition, USC requires all new, incoming International Students to receive, or provide documentation of, a tuberculosis (PPD) skin test performed in the United States or Canada, within 6 months prior to enrollment at USC. Tuberculosis screening requirement Recommended ImmunizationsThe USC-University Park Health Center strongly recommends that all incoming freshmen to USC receive the following vaccinations prior to their arrival on campus, or as soon as possible after arriving. However, some immunizations require an order from a medical services provider in order to obtain the immunization. If so, schedule an appointment with a clinician or travel consultant at the UPHC to obtain the order prior to receiving the immunization.
