What is an IPA and what do we do?
IPA is an International Programming Assistant. There are four IPAs this academic year, and they are in charge of student programs that are offered by the Office of International Services. The programs that are offered are Thanksgiving Match-up, LA Today, State of the World Seminar, and Diners' Club. All these programs are designed to help international students become more accommodated to the US and the unique culture it has to offer. The programs also provide a great opportunity for students of all different backgrounds to come together and socialize in a very laid-back, casual environment.
