The APA Network (“the Network”) is a new way of staying connected to other Asian Pacific American students and to learn about campus and community events and activities. The Network expands upon the Student Involvement database that the USC Asian Pacific American Student Services (APASS) maintains but introduces new activities for first-year undergraduates to participate in. Participation in the network is FREE.

As a USC student, one should take advantage of all the “networks” available: alumni, corporate, community, academic and, of course, student. USC prides itself on the strength of the connections its students can make. The Network helps students do this by introducing them to alumni, faculty, administrators, community leaders and student leaders.

When you join the Network, you will automatically be connected to 7-10 other APA students, including a specially designated “Network Leader” who will work as a group leader. Each month during the fall semester, there will be at least two activities that everyone in the Network will be invited to participate in. These will range from campus social activities to community events. All of these events will be free of charge, but some will be exclusive events available only to those in the Network.
