MAKING HISTORY
 Michelle T. Jones, the first African American President elected to the Staff Assembly took place at their year end meeting in December 2004. Jones has been a staff member of the law school since 1985. She has served on the Assembly off and on since 1991. She is a former Chair of the Rights and Responsibilities Committee and Compensation and Benefits Committee of the Staff Assembly. Her term ends in December 2005.
Michelle was elected President by acclamation.
