Impressive History, Ambitious Mission

Give 'em what they want to see, or so seems to go the mantra of USC Program Board. For over thirty years, Program Board has brought an incalculable amount of events and programs to the USC campus to benefit our community. Comprised of 9 assemblies and 4 committees, Program Board main objective is to provide students with programs, services, events, and entertainment to a broad and diverse range of interests. The assemblies themselves reflect the varying needs of the student body: Academic Honors Assembly, Asian-Pacific American Student Assembly, Black Student Assembly, Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Assembly, Greek Student Assembly, International Students Assembly, Latino Student Assembly, Trojan Pride, and the Women's Student Assembly. With that many assemblies, there is never a dull week for Program Board.

Walk into the Program Board office and the proof of their impressive history in literally on the walls. Past promotional posters fill an entire wall of their office and serves as a testament to Program Board's ability to bring the most relevant and current issues to the USC community. Entertainment and political heavy weights such as Suge Knight, Mos Def, Hoobastank, Incubus, Nelly, Dave Chapelle, Jay Mohr, Jamie Kennedy, Larry King, General Wesley Clark, Erin Brokovich, Maya Angelou, Michael Moore, and countless others have brought their talents and wisdom to the student population.

Program Board is entirely staffed by students, which means the responsibility of bringing the world's best talent to USC rests entirely on their shoulders. This impressive feat stands as further testament to the dedication of Student Life and Involvement to engage students in their community and represent for the collective voice.
