Countries have capitals. Cities have town halls. Neighborhoods have community centers. Gathering places are a hallmark of human civilizationplaces in which we learn, exchange ideas, celebrate tradition, and develop social and cultural connections. Next year, the University of Southern California begins construction on its new central gathering place, a new Campus Center. Located in the heart of the campus, the Campus Center will be used by virtually every current and prospective student, professor, staff member, family member, and visitor on campus, as well as USCs nearly 200,000 alumni.
The Campus Center is designed to create a new definition of community at USCone that reflects our storied history and inspires us to reach new heights as a community of learners.
