The design and development of the new Campus Center will be guided by the following key goals:
- Encourage collaboration, the development of interpersonal relationships, and the open exchange of ideas among students, faculty, staff, alumni, family of students and other members of the university community
- Foster an enduring attraction, loyalty, and dedication to the values and spirit of the Trojan family
- Enhance the academic life experiences of undergraduate and graduate students through a wide range of curricular and co-curricular opportunities
- Contribute substantively to USC’s intellectual climate by providing a welcoming location for out-of-class interactions between faculty and students
- Provide a spatial and symbolic hub in which all constituencies of the Trojan family can find cultural, social, and educational programming spaces
- Reflect the beauty of USC and its status as an innovative, world-class research university
