     The following incidents were reported to the Department of Public Safety between Friday, Sept. 26, and Wednesday, Oct. 1:

PETTY THEFT
* A suspect entered an unsecured office in the Center for Health Professions and removed currency from an unattended purse around 9 a.m. Friday.
     * A suspect removed a bicycle secured to a bike rack at the Law Center around noon Friday.
     * DPS officers received a call around 2 p.m. Friday, reporting that an unauthorized person entered an unsecured store room in the Center for Health Professions.
     * A suspect removed a bicycle secured to a bike rack at the Lyon Center around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
     * A suspect removed a bicycle secured to a bike rack around 8 p.m. Sunday.
     * A suspect entered an unsecured location on Orchard Avenue and removed an unattended and unsecured bicycle around 9 a.m. Monday.
     * A suspect entered the Health Research Association and removed an unattended telephone with headphones around 1 p.m. Monday.
     * It was reported that a suspect entered an unsecured dorm room in Marks Hall and removed money from an unattended wallet around 5 p.m. Monday.
     * A suspect removed a bicycle secured to a bike rack at Waite Phillips Hall around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
     * A suspect removed a bicycle secured to a bike rack at Parkside Apartments around 11 a.m., Tuesday.
     * A suspect entered an unsecured office in the Keith Administration Building on the Health Sciences Campus and removed currency from an unattended wallet around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
     * A suspect removed a bicycle secured to a bike rack at the Dental Sciences Building around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
     * A suspect removed a wheel from a bicycle secured to a bike rack at the Von Kleinsmid Residence around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

VANDALISM
* A suspect smashed the passenger-side wing window of a student's vehicle at City Park Apartments around 4 p.m. Friday.
     * A suspect threw a rock, and it struck and shattered the front windshield of a student's vehicle on 28th Sreet and Orchard Avenue around 7:30 Friday.
     * A suspect threw an unknown object at a living room window, breaking a window at Troyland Apartments on the 900 block of Adams Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
     * A suspect used an unknown object to scratch the paint on the passenger side of a staff member's vehicle at the Clinical Sciences and Anne Building around 5 p.m. Monday.

BURGLARY
* A DPS officer monitoring a surveillance camera observed a suspect smash the rear passenger-side window to gain entry to a vehicle parked outside of a building on Hope Street around midnight Saturday. DPS officers were requested and responded. Upon their arrival, the officers observed the suspect seated in the rear passenger seat of the vehicle. The officers arrested the suspect and transported him to Southwest Jail for booking.
     * A suspect used unknown means to gain entry to an office in Heritage Hall and removed a phone, a video camera, a set of keys and a CD around 1 a.m. Sunday.
     * A suspect smashed the front driver-side window to gain entry and removed a CD player and three CDs around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
     * A suspect unscrewed the passenger-side window frame to gain entry to a vehicle in Parking Structure D and removed a pair of sunglasses around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
     * A suspect smashed the front driver-side window to gain entry and removed a cellular phone from Parking Structure X around 7 p.m. Monday.
* A suspect smashed the rear driver-side window to gain entry and removed an in-dash stereo from a car parked on 29th Street around 11:30 a.m.
