The No. 2 USC
men's volleyball team (3-1 overall, 1-1 NCAA, 0-0 Mountain Pacific Sports
Federation Division) will face No. 9 Penn State tonight and Saturday at 8
p.m in Pennsylvania.
Penn State
enters tonight's match unbeaten in the preseason Nittany Lion Invitational
last weekend, where it won all four of its matches against Niagara,
Waterloo, Guelph and Montreal.
Head Coach Pat
Powers said that Penn State is one of about four teams who the Trojans will
be unfamiliar with this year. He hopes to improve on serving and
passing.
"It's something
that you acquire over the season," he said. "We're just going to go out and
try to win all of our matches."
