Faculty Advisors to Student Organizations
Student organizations are an essential part of the University of Southern California. They provide students a variety of opportunities to explore their academic, professional, political, social, cultural, recreational, spiritual, and community service interests. These groups allow students to develop interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills in a supportive and challenging environment.
Advisors play a key part in this student development experience. An advisor’s role and specific responsibilities depend on the student organization’s needs and the advisor’s leadership style and availability.
To learn more about student organizations at USC, visit the Student Organizations Web site, which has a link for advisors (with an online advisor application form).
