Alternative Spring Break Advisor, Baltimore
Provide counsel and mentorship to a group of approximately 15 students for an annual one-week service learning and health policy education trip to Baltimore, Maryland, in March. With one other ASB advisor, the faculty advisor will provide overall support to the student coordinator during the trip, supervise the group’s travel to and from Baltimore, advise students throughout the trip experience, develop trip learning outcomes and educational programming with the student coordinator, and be available for monthly (or as needed) one-hour meetings with the student coordinator/ASB team from approximately Oct. 1-Mar. 20 each year.

Alternative Spring Break Advisor, Death Valley
Provide counsel and mentorship to a group of approximately 15 students for an annual one-week service-learning and environmental education trip to Death Valley, CA, in March. With one other ASB advisor, the faculty advisor will provide overall support to the student coordinator during the trip, supervise the group’s travel to and from Death Valley, advise students throughout the trip experience, develop trip learning outcomes and educational programming with the student coordinator, and be available for monthly (or as needed) one-hour meetings with the student coordinator/ASB team from approximately Oct. 1-Mar. 20 each year.

With one other ASB advisor, the faculty advisor will provide overall support to the student coordinator during the trip, supervise the group’s travel to and from Bluff, UT, advise students throughout the trip experience, develop trip learning outcomes and educational programming with the student coordinator, and be available for monthly (or as needed) one-hour meetings with the student coordinator/ASB team from approximately Oct. 1-Mar. 20 each year.

Alternative Winter Break Advisor, Varies
Provide counsel and mentorship to a group of approximately 15 students for an annual two-week service learning and community development trip each December. With one other AWB advisor, the faculty advisor will supervise the group’s travel to and from the destination, advise students throughout the trip experience, develop trip learning outcomes and educational programming with the student coordinator, and be available for every two weeks (or as needed) one-hour meetings with the student coordinator/AWB team from approximately Sept. 1-Dec. 20 each year.
