    Peer Mentoring Program

    The mentoring program matches students who need someone to talk with individually about issues pertaining to being LGBT. This is a confidential program housed with the LGBT Resource Center (formerly the counseling center). For more information about the program, review the Q&A sheet.

    University Rap (uRap)

    University Rap is a weekly confidential discussion group about current issues in the LGBT community and uRap coordinates social events. This is the perfect place to meet new people and make some new friends. We encourage students who are seeking to connect with peers or discuss recent stresses in their lives to attend.     OutList

    The OutList is featured in the Daily Trojan on National Coming Out Day (October 11) every fall semester, and it is coordinated by the GLBTA and LGBT Resource Center.     Hate Crimes

    Dictionary.com defines a hate crime as a crime motivated by prejudice against a social group. At times, LGBT people are frequently targets to such crimes such as the death of Matthew Shepard. Below are some helpful downlaods and links.
