Eileen Kohan
Eileen Kohan, senior associate dean and executive director of the USC Career Planning & Placement Center, has a portfolio of experience spanning both corporate and educational worlds.
Prior to her appointment at USC in 1999, she directed the Center for Career Services at Columbia University in New York. In this position, Eileen became the national spokesperson for collegians seeking work, appearing on the MacNeil Lehrer Newshour and numerous CNN, CNBC and MSNBC broadcasts. Eileen is often quoted in The NY Times, Wall Street Journal and Los Angeles Times. In 1998 she authored a series of articles on Internet job search for The NY Times.
Eileen, who is currently also a lecturer in the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences teaching a freshman seminar for student interns, has also worked with a few of the most admired corporations in America. At AT&T and NYNEX, Eileen led marketing and sales organizations and capped her corporate career leading a business unit generating $500 million annually.
