Parents Council Committee

 
The USC Parents Council is the governing body of the USC Parents Association. Parent members represent the diversity of students' majors, schools, and organizations. The Parents Council reviews existing programs and provides feedback and new ideas to the Office for Parent Programs.

Follow the Campus Center Construction
Fundraising- Coordinates sales of parent merchandise at various campus events; maintains inventory; brainstorms ideas for additional fundraising projects. 
Membership - Responsible for managing the roster, recruiting new members, coordinating member applications and tracking participation at meetings and events.
Safety – Meets with DPS Chief twice each semester for information, updates and parent feedback.
Teaching and Mentoring Awards- Coordinates awards process to honor faculty; organizes recognition ceremony. 

Visibility and Events - Brainstorms programs and events to engage parents in the Parents Association and throughout the campus community.  Assists in executing annual basketball and theatre events.

Volunteer Recognition- Plans events and opportunities to honor and thank parents for volunteering for campus events.
