| Message from the V.P. of Student Affairs Dear Parents: Welcome to the USC's parents website. We hope that it provides information that you will find useful as you support your student during their educational experience at the university. Our faculty and staff are focused on ensuring that our academic and co-curricular offerings help students develop their intellectual abilities, learn about themselves and others, develop personal and professional abilities, learn how to develop healthy lifestyle habits, and fulfill their personal and social responsibilities with integrity.
The more that you know about how USC is organized the easier it will be for you to encourage your student to take advantage of what we have to offer. That is why we have developed this website. It will be continually updated to make sure the student experience is transparent to you. If you have suggestions about other features or information you would like us to consider adding to this website please do not hesitate to let us know by writing to the Director for Parent Programs, Beth Saul, at: saul@usc.edu. As you know, the
educational experience of each student results from a thoughtful and
caring partnership between the university, the family, and the
student. It is our sincere hope that our new partnership will
produce great results, including the graduation of women and men who
will provide outstanding leadership in the communities in which they
settle. This has been the tradition of USC graduates since the mid
1880's. And, we if work together there is a high probability of
continuing this tradition for this next generation of Trojans. Michael L. Jackson |

USC has a strong tradition of public and community service and we hope that each student will also become involved in projects that teach them how they can have a personal impact on making the lives of others better as they learn how to apply what they learn in the classroom in real life settings.
