Campus Safety and Emergency Preparedness

The safety of your son or daughter is our priority at USC.  The university has an array of services, programs and departments that work together to ensure all members of the USC community are provided with a safe and secure learning environment.  USC is pleased to offer a comprehensive Safety and Emergency Preparedness website which outlines the many entities involved with safety and emergency preparedness on and around our campus.  On this website you will find campus safety notices, information about our urban communities, the wide variety of safety resources available to students, safety tips, crime reporting, and information regarding the university’s emergency preparedness, for events ranging from earthquakes to public health threats. 

Please refer to the Safety and Emergency Preparedness website often, as updates are posted frequently and on an ongoing basis. 

In the event of a major emergency on campus or in the Southern California area, such as an earthquake, you should visit the USC Emergency website for up-to-the-minute information.
