Today the notion of “going green” has touched nearly everyone and everything, but as a society are we really having an impact? In light of increased consumption, growing populations and intensified impacts of climate change, we have an urgent imperative to act. How do we ensure our eco-friendly efforts go beyond swapping out light bulbs and result in change that will ensure a more just and sustainable future for everyone? How do we
bridge divides and encourage more people to
engage in local and global action? Award-winning
journalist Simran Sethi will discuss her experiences working at NBC News and being dubbed Oprah’s green go-to girl, detailing the ways in which we all have the opportunity to solve our most pressing environmental problems.
