Survey Insights
 
Survey Insights, the Student Outcomes Research newsletter, began in February 2004 in an effort to provide clear, interesting survey results in a timely manner.  Hard copies of the newsletter are distributed within the Division of Student Affairs and to selected USC administrators and faculty.   Copies are also available for download in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.   To view a newsletter in this format, you'll need to have the Acrobat Reader program installed on your computer (see link below). 
 
The most recent issue was published in fall 2007 and is available here. Topics in this issue include a profile of new students using freshman and transfer survey data and a review of data from the 2007 College Student Experience Questionnaire (CSEQ).

Student Research Review

The Student Research Review is a newsletter created by the Division of Student Affairs to review student development, learning, and outcomes research findings of interest to faculty and other educators. The spring 2008 issue is available here. This issue covers the following topics: USC's changing academic reputation, USC's rising graduation and retention rates, a consideration of pedagogy and residential life, and additional findings from the Listening to Students interviews. The first issue, published in summer 2007, is available here. The first issue of this newsletter, published in spring 2007, is available here. The next issue will be available in fall 2008.
