Trojan Trekkers
USC Recreational Sports is kicking off Walktober (National Walking Month) on Friday, October 2, with a trek around the campus.
The walk will be the first of the 2009-2010 academic year for Trojan Trekkers, a free, self-guided walking program open to students, staff and faculty. The trekkers will meet twice a week during the month of October for a group walk, although they're encouraged to walk more frequently on their own. There will be incentives based on the number of days participants walk. Maps with campus walking routes will be provided.
The first meeting will be at Cromwell Track. Subsequent meetings will be Tuesdays at Davidson Conference Center and Fridays at Cromwell Track. All walks start at 12:05 p.m. For more information or to register online visit www.usc.edu/recsports.
