Director's Guild of America
7920 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90046

The LGBT Resource Center goes Hollywood this July when it will help to host OUTFEST 2009, a leading showcase for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender films and videos.

As a community collaborator, the LGBT Resource Center will promote and introduce the British documentary "Sounds Like Teen Spirit." The film chronicles young singers from across Europe, including Cypriot, an openly gay performer, competing in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

OUTFEST is a nonprofit organization dedicated to showcasing and preserving LGBT films. Since 1982, its OUTFEST Festival has presented more than 4,000 films and videos. This year's festival features 182 films and videos from 25 countries that will be shown in seven different venues over two weeks.

Purchase tickets online at www.outfest.org/fest2009 or by calling (213) 480-7065. Discounted tickets are available to members of the Trojan Family. Mention the USC LGBT Resource Center when purchasing tickets.
