Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils Win at Regional Conference
USC Interfraternity (IFC) and Panhellenic Councils received an unprecedented seven awards at the Western Regional Greek Leadership Conference April 10-13 in Burlingame, Calif. The greek honorary organization, Order of Omega, also received an award, bringing the total to eight—more than USC has ever won in a single year.
“The multiple awards that the Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils received at the conference affirm the excellence that our greek community constantly strives to achieve,” says Beth Saul, director of Fraternity and Sorority Leadership Development and Parent Programs. “These awards enhance USC’s reputation through this prestigious recognition of our greek community.”
The Western Regional Greek Association (WRGA) sponsored the conference in which the following awards were given out:
IFC
- Recognition of Excellence, Scholarship Programming
- Recognition of Excellence, Inter-Greek Community Relations
- Recognition of Excellence, Scholastic Achievement
Panhellenic Council
- Recognition of Excellence, University Involvement
- Recognition of Excellence, Community Involvement
- Recognition of Excellence, Scholastic Achievement
The IFC and Panhellenic Council also received joint recognition for Excellence in Marketing and Media for their newsletters.
In addition, the Omega Phi chapter of Order of Omega received an Honorable Mention Award for its dedication to the embodiment of the positive values of greek life.
