Andrew Skotzko

An enthusiastic leader and entrepreneur, Andrew Skotzko is working toward increasing the presence and impact of the greek community on campus as the 2007 Interfraternity Council (IFC) president.

The three major projects that Andrew is focusing on as IFC president include improving campus-wide recognition of philanthropies, revamping and enhancing the judicial process to increase peer review involvement, and bringing back Greek Week.

In addition, Andrew plans to work on leadership transitions within fraternities by developing programs to nurture leadership talent. A member of the Order of Omega greek honor society, he is also active within his own fraternity, Delta Chi, and has served as social chair and pledge class president.

A junior majoring in business administration with a focus in entrepreneurship, Andrew also works as a USC tour guide in the admissions office and has helped with the start-up of two companies while a student at USC.

The highlights of his experience at USC so far have been his involvement with the greek system and his work as a tour guide.

“My experience in the greek community has been unbelievable,” says Andrew. “And I love being a USC tour guide.”

After he graduates in spring of 2008, Andrew would like to do strategic marketing and creative work. “I am looking forward to taking the leadership skills and things I have learned and applying them to my career,” he says.
