Anne Heestand
Anne Heestand, president of the Panhellenic Council, leads the organization with integrity and class.
A senior from Chicago, Illinois, majoring in social sciences with an emphasis in psychology and minoring in communication and the entertainment industry, Anne is currently conducting the 2007 Panhellenic executive board elections, organizing board transition workshops and planning the new board installation.
Anne is fair and supportive to all chapters in the council and open to a diversity of opinions and needs, said Beth Saul, director for Parent Programs and Fraternity and Sorority Leadership Development. She has also worked inter-fraternally to expand the communication and interaction of the five greek councils and their communities.
In addition to her involvement with the Panhellenic Council, Anne is also a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, the Psi Chi honor society, the Order of Omega honor society and the Gamma Sigma Alpha honor society.
Ive really enjoyed the opportunities USC has offered me through my professors, career services and the greek system, said Anne. I love being part of the Trojan Family because I will have connections to the USC community for life. The friendships Ive made at USC will stay with me forever.
After graduation, she plans to take some time off and move to Spain for an internship.
