Catherine De Francesco
Catherine De Francesco, who has served as senior administrative director of University Park Health Center for 10 years, increased enrollees in the student health insurance program from 3,000 to 21,000.
In addition to playing a key role in the health insurance program, Catherine supervises a group of directors and managers who are responsible for the non-clinical operations of health services. She is also the project planner for the new University Park Health Center building projects and co-chair of the student health insurance advisory committee.
“I appreciate the people I work with every day and the students we serve,” says Catherine. “They are the best thing about USC.”
Catherine earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Azusa Pacific University and will complete her master’s degree in health administration at USC in May 2008. She is also a candidate for American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) certification through the Medical Management Group Association and is a member of American College Health Association.
